Annual Appeal

Do you remember your first concert?

Thanks to the generosity of one of our donors, some of the young adults we care for will never forget theirs.

Earlier this fall, twenty of our youth who reside in group homes in Albany and Schenectady got the chance to go to a Blake Shelton concert at the Times Union Center. These tickets were generously donated by a longstanding community supporter. For many of the residents, this was their first concert – and memories that will last their lifetimes.

Our supervisors who attended shared their appreciation for the experience after the event:

“This was a great event for our kids to attend. These are the kinds of moments they will always remember.”

“The youth who attended last night’s concert can’t stop talking about it! They all said they had an amazing time. This was the first concert for all of the kids! One of the girls excitedly reported that ‘a famous person was right in front of me!’ They are all asking, ‘when can we go to another concert?!’ Thank you very much for giving us this opportunity!”

Your contributions and support help us provide our children and young adults with Life changing opportunities like this. It helped support the amazing work of our 1,300-strong workforce over the past year as they served more than 14,000 children, adults and families at Northeast and Parsons. And as we continue to strive to provide exceptional services, it helps to maintain the more than 70 programs, services, and departments that empower those we serve to find success and opportunities for a better future.

Please join me in participating in this year’s Annual Appeal with a year-end gift. Your support will help our workforce continue to positively IMPACT the lives of those we serve. 100% of all donations from this year’s appeal will be used for recreational activities, educational trips, and special services for our children, adults and families.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, leadership team, and those we serve, thank you for continuing to make an IMPACT on our organization.

Sincerely,
