New office opens in Clifton Park

This office will be home to Bridges to Health and Home- and Community-Based Waiver staff serving Saratoga County, along with two staff from our new adoption Permanency Resource Center program in our Residential and Foster Care Services division. GoToMeeting Available for All Users

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve efficiency throughout the organization, we are pleased to announce the availability of a GoToMeeting “Virtual Conference Room,” for all users. This powerful tool allows users to host and participate in virtual meetings with full audio, visual screen sharing and chat capabilities.

Employee Referral Program 3rd Quarter

Do you know someone who would be a good fit for our organization? It could make you up to $500! Northern Rivers is pleased to present our new Employee Referral Program, which became effective April 1. Each quarter, Human Resources will designate specific positions that qualify for the referral program. We will select these positions based on jobs that are hard to fill or where there is a significant hiring need. More details on the program are attached.

Update on Computer Security and Support

The IT team has implemented new tools and processes to enhance the protection of our computer systems and level of service desk support.  We are updating computer systems more regularly with required security updates and patches.  A new set of tools have been implemented to manage security updates on computers to include improved anti-virus software (WebRoot) and remote support software (TeamViewer).

Retirement of Ron Griesche

For more than 40 years, Ron has helped support our mission by keeping an eye on the bottom line and ensuring that the dollars entrusted to us to support the care of children and families are spent prudently and responsibly.
