Intern Today

Intern

Intern today. Employee tomorrow.

Being an intern with us is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in real life situations and a great preparation for a future career in human services. Our internships provide you with the opportunity to learn new things and get a better feel for the line of work you’re interested in.

Student interns serve a valuable role, helping children and families reach their potential, through the experience they have with clients under the supervision of qualified staff members.

In clinical programs, you’ll be integrated into multidisciplinary treatment teams which may include social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers, child care workers and education specialists in areas such as speech and language, occupational therapy, adaptive physical education, music or art therapies, community professionals, and collateral agencies.

As an intern, you’ll participate in agency orientations, weekly individual supervision sessions, as well as unit and program staff meetings. You may also attend many of our training sessions.
